LSU's first touchdown Saturday night vs. Alabama came via a heads up play from senior receiver Jontre Kirklin.
At the start of the second quarter, Kirklin recovered Kayshon Boutte’s fumble in the end zone. Boutte dropped the ball at the 1-yard line while appearing to celebrate at the end of his 44-yard catch and run.
The score was will go down as Kirklin's third touchdown of the season instead of Boutte's second even though the true freshman appeared poised to score.
