When you play in the Cheez-It bowl, things go a bit differently, and that's all the way down to the post-game head coach showers.

You can probably imagine where we're going with this.

Late in the Tigers' 63-7 demolition of Purdue, LSU defensive tackle Jacobian Guillory and punter Jay Bramblett sneaked up behind Brian Kelly with red tubs in hand. Caught unaware, the first-year LSU coach got a full dose of a celebratory "shower," as is tradition. Except this time it was the signature orange crackers falling all around him, getting lodged in his headset and belt and littering the ground at the edge of the field.

But they didn't all go to waste. Bramblett yelled back to his coach "you've got to eat some of them," and in what could possibly be called an homage to former head coach Les Miles' grass-eating habit, Kelly reached down and grabbed a handful to much on before getting back to business.

But that wasn't the only Cheez-It themed celebration on the day. The Tigers drew a penalty for their celebration following a 99-yard interception return touchdown by Quad Wilson that put the Tigers over the top for the bowl record for points.

Kelly pointed to his own celebration penalty that he probably should have avoided, and said he knows his players will hold him accountable for that one. But he wouldn't apologize for his players. That celebration was well-earned.

"They were having fun with each other," Kelly said after the game, "and if a bunch of old men can't get out of the way of that, we're in a bad spot."
