It might've been UCLA that got the last laugh on Saturday, but Ed Orgeron definitely landed the first one as he walked into the Rose Bowl ahead of LSU's season-opener.
Sharing some banter with a UCLA fan standing somewhere up above Orgeron as he entered the stadium, he could be heard yelling "bring your ass on with your little sissy blue shirt."
The moment, unsurprisingly went viral, but it was nothing more than a bit of friendly trash-talk before a big game, Orgeron said Tuesday when asked if there was anything more serious said that build up to it.

"That was all in fun," Orgeron said. "All that was in fun."
As would be expected, the comments were remembered by UCLA fans after the Bruins 38-27 victory ... and could it even become a rallying cry for the team this season? A quick Google search surfaces dozens of t-shirt listings with variations on the "sissy blue" comment.
LSU's season continues this week when they host McNeese State, and yet another game with a notable twist: The quarterback for the Cowboys is Cody Orgeron, Ed's son.
