We don’t know exactly who will be on the LSU men’s basketball team, but we do know they'll have an “Aura.”

The most famous student manager in college athletics is teaming up with Will Wade again. Amir “Aura” Kahn, who became a viral sensation in 2025 as McNeese’s student manager during the Cowboys' run into the second round of the NCAA Tournament, told ESPN he will be a student manager for the Fighting Tigers this season.

He earned the nickname " Aura" for his fancy boombox, which had him rapping as he led the Cowboys out of the locker room before their games. It helped him land numerous NIL deals worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Kahn followed Wade to North Carolina State, but his stay in Raleigh, North Carolina, didn’t last long, and he ended up back at McNeese last season.

Kahn is now Baton Rouge-bound.

"Beyond grateful for everything McNeese has done for me, and it will always be home," Khan told ESPN. "I'm incredibly thankful for the opportunity to work with my dream coaching staff at my dream school."

So far, LSU has announced four players to its roster as it waits on the eligibility of several foreign players they plan to bring in, but we now know who will be leading the Tigers out of the locker room this season.
