The Pistons are searching for a new head coach and were granted permission by the Pelicans to interview assistant Jarron Collins, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Collins came to New Orleans when Willie Green was hired as head coach in 2021. He was an assistant with the Warriors and part of 3 championships for Golden State from 2014-2021.
Detroit has also reportedly gotten permission to interview Brooklyn Nets assistant Brian Keefe.
