One week down, and 14 weeks to go in the 2025 Louisiana prep football season, and the competition heats up as we enter Week 2.
The Superdome will play host to two major matchups. Rummel will face U-High, which defending Division I-Select state champion Edna Karr will host American Heritage, a Florida program ranked nationally with a five-star recruit at quarterback, Texas commitment Dia Bell.
Meanwhile, Ruston, West Monroe, and Iowa will also play out of state opponents as they look to prepare for their district schedules.
Speaking of district play, the Shreveport-area 5A schools will being their district slates this week.
The rest of the schedule features a number of cross-regional matchups between powerhouses and teams that are sure to be playoff contenders come November and December.
