The road to the Superdome continues for 125 teams.
Several regional round games will pit district rivals against each other, while others will force teams to travel across the state to fight for the right to advance to the quarterfinals. One game in Division I Non-Select pits the two teams who played for the state title last year.
Meanwhile, three teams saw their trek to the state championships end prematurely. U-High's legal bid to stay in the playoffs failed, while a fight between Ferriday and Lake Arthur resulted in their ouster from the Division IV Non-Select bracket.
