Thirty-two Louisiana high school football teams remain alive in the hunt for state championships.
Seven of those teams on the road to the Superdome are undefeated. Four of the teams vying for championship berths are defending the crowns they won last December. A handful of them are seeking their first Superdome appearances in years, while a few others are seeking to make their Prep Classic debuts.
This week's semifinal games feature regional rivalries, David-and-Goliath matchups, and, in the case of Union Parish and St. James, a rematch from last year's Division III Non-Select state championship game.
