To say the Saints look are thin at wide receiver at the moment is an understatement as four of the seven players not practicing Wednesday are part of that group:
Did not practice
WR Chris Olave (concussion)
WR Deonte Harty (foot)
WR Jarvis Landry (ankle)
WR Michael Thomas (foot)
CB Marshon Lattimore (abdomen)
DE Payton Turner (chest)
G Calvin Throckmorton (hip)
We did see Olave present for the workout, but was not doing any team drills. He was working off to the side with a trainer after suffering a concussion scoring a TD in Sunday’s win.
Limited for the Saints were:
QB Jameis Winston (back/ankle)
T Ryan Ramczyk (rest)
CB Paulson Adebo (knee)
S J.T. Gray (foot)
TE Taysom Hill (rib)
S Marcus Maye (rib)
DT Malcolm Roach (ankle)
Big positive seeing Winston back on the field for the first time in 2 weeks. He also appeared to be doing a lot more in the session then in previous Wednesday workouts. We’ll see if he’s ready to regain his role as the teams starter week 6 against Cincinnati.
For the Bengals, 6 players appeared on their initial injury rundown:
DNP
T La'el Collins (rest)
WR Tee Higgins (ankle)
T Jonah Williams (knee)
Limited
TE Devin Asiasi (ankle)
TE Hayden Hurst (groin)
RB Samaje Perine (abdomen)
