New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara was named the NFC’s Offensive Player of the Week following the his NFL record-tying performance against the Minnesota Vikings on Christmas Day.
Kamara rushed for six touchdowns and a career-high 155 yards in the Saints Week 16 victory. His performance helped the Saints secure a 52-33 victory.
Kamara is the third Saint to earn Player of the Week honors this year. Thomas Morstead and kicker Wil Lutz were named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week in weeks 1 and 5, respectively.
