The New Orleans Saints and Tennessee Titans appear evenly matched for the season opener this Sunday. WWL's Bobby Hebert thinks win or lose, it won't be lopsided.
"I think this is going to be a fourth quarter game," said Hebert. "I don't think they blow us out, I don't think we blow them out."
If there's anything about the Saints that worries the Cajun Cannon, it's the offensive line.
"Right now, the Saints are kind of mid-20s, I wouldn't say bottom five, but not too much better," he said. "We were kind of spoiled with Sean Payton and Drew Brees, when our offensive line was outstanding."
What must the Saints do to win? The Cannon says the keys are to contain Titans running back Derrick Henry, and get good game out of Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore.
"He's going to be coming downhill," Hebert said of the Titans' workhorse back. "And that's when, Coach Allen's saying, we've got to swarm the football and we have to have two or three guys hitting him."
As for Lattimore, Hebert says he expects him to be singled up on DeAndre Hopkins.
"You gotta shut him down," said Hebert. Holding him to no catches isn't necessary, but "you hold him to, I don't know, 30-40 yards, something like that. That's a big win."
In the end, Hebert thinks the Saints win, but maybe by a field goal, or even a final scoring drive to decide the game.
