There's been a host of talk, analysis and just general musing about a quarterback yelling at his wide receiver over a route mixup, but what's the real issue at play?
At the end of the day, it's all about winning as Bobby Hebert explains. Until Derek Carr and the Saints can find a way to do that consistently, the critics will be coming hard, fast and from all directions.

"It’s a production business. ... It's all Kumbaya? No. You’ve got to win. You can’t lose. That just comes with the territory," Hebert said on WWL this week. "It’s not like, now, if you can have all everybody loves each other, everyone gets along when you’re winning. That’s the best case scenario. But it can’t be like, I wouldn’t want to be no other place but here and lose. No."
So how can Carr and the Saints turn things around after four losses in five games? A trip to face the Colts appears to be a prime opportunity, with the Saints facing a defense that has put up points consistently, but surrenders big plays and points at as high a rate as anyone in the league. The Colts defense has averaged 27.3 points allowed per game and is -2 in turnover differential.
But even more importantly, Carr has a track record of success against the Colts. Carr is 2-0 in his career in games at Lucas Oil Stadium. In his six games against Indy in his career, Carr is 142-204 (69.6%) for 1,484 yards, 13 TDs and 4 interceptions. There's often a level of comfort for QBs in certain matchups, and this looks like it could be one of them for Carr.
"As a player, you remember the certain teams you’ve played," Hebert said. "Now the personnel changes, but I think how your human mind is wired, that you tend to remember where you’ve had success against different opponents. ... He’s had two-plus touchdown passes in five of the six starts, so hopefully he does that come Sunday."
The Saints (3-4) and Colts (3-4) face off in Indianapolis at noon on Sunday, with both teams hopeful to get back to .500 for a second-half push to the playoffs in tightly contested divisions.
