Saints tight end made a big impression with his high-volume preseason, and despite clearing waivers after being one of the Saints' final cuts, he's still headed out of town.
The second-year tight end is signing on with the Denver Broncos practice squad, according to reports, reuniting with several former Saints teammates on Sean Payton's new team.
The Saints filled out their practice squad on Wednesday, while keeping four tight ends on the roster in Juwan Johnson, Foster Moreau, Jimmy Graham and Taysom Hill.
Krull will now be teammates again with Adam Trautman, who was traded from the Saints during the 2023 draft. He'll also rejoin Declan Doyle, who signed on to Payton's staff as TEs coach after multiple seasons as an offensive assistant in New Orleans.
Denver offers a much clearer path to playing time for Krull, with a roster of Greg Dulcic, Nate Adkins, Chris Manhertz and Trautman.
