The NFL world descends on Indianapolis this week for the annual NFL Scouting Combine, where many of the top draft prospects will work to improve their draft stock in front of representatives from all 32 NFL teams.
But where does WWL Radio's Mike Detillier have the board set going into the week's events? It all starts with the quarterback, of course, but he's got the Saints landing a big weapon to help jumpstart Kellen Moore's new offense.

1. Tennessee Titans
- Who: Cam Ward, QB, Miami
- Why: Either via a trade, and that’s highly possible, or the Titans deciding to pick Ward, he’s the No. 1 overall selection. Cam is well built, has a cannon for an arm, is highly accurate and has good mobility skills. Ward will need some work on his set-up skills and mechanics, and he will take some chances with tight-window throws, but he’s a winner and a very strong leader.
2. Cleveland Browns
- Who: Abdul Carter Jr, DE, Penn State
- Why: Carter is a tremendous athlete with excellent pursuit skills and speed, and he comes off the edge in a flash. Carter recorded 24 tackles for losses and 12 sacks last season.
3. New York Giants
- Who: Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado
- Why: My highest-rated player in the Draft Class of 2025. First-rate ball skills along with unique timing and coverage ability with the ball in flight. You build a package offensively to use Travis 13-16 plays a game as a WR.
4. New England Patriots
- Who: Mason Graham, DT/NT, Michigan
- Why: Graham just clogs up the middle against the run and does a very good job pushing the inside pocket as a pass rusher.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars
- Who: Jalon Walker, DE/OLB, Georgia
- Why: A speed pass rusher who just flies off the edge and is outstanding in run pursuit.
6. Las Vegas Raiders
- Who: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
- Why: Smart and a very efficient passer, accurate with his throws and a top-flight leader.
7. New York Jets
- Who: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State.
- Why: A workhorse halfback with a superb blend of field vision, outstanding strength in the lower body and speed to turn the corner. Jeanty is also a tremendous receiver out of the backfield.
8. Carolina Panthers
- Who: Mykel Williams, DE, Georgia
- Why: Mykel was bothered by an ankle injury in 2024 but is tremendous in pursuit and flashes first-rate pass rush skills off the edge.
9. New Orleans Saints
- Who: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
- Why: A talented big-man receiver who is a major mismatch in coverage. Warren is a versatile playmaker who caught 104 passes for 1,233 yards and 8 TDs last season for Penn State.
10. Chicago Bears
- Who: Will Campbell, OT, LSU
- Why: Will started at left tackle for the Tigers as a true freshman. Campbell has excelled in pass protection and flashes big-time power skills as a run blocker. He now can protect Caleb Williams in Chicago. Campbell will become the first LSU offensive lineman to be selected in the first round since Alan Faneca in 1998.
11. San Francisco 49ers
- Who: Will Johnson,CB, Michigan
- Why: Will struggled with injuries in 2024, but he is a lengthy cover cornerback who is fluid in the reverse position and plays the ball in flight like it’s being thrown to him. He also excels as an open-field tackler.
12. Dallas Cowboys
- Who: Armond Membou, OT, Missouri
- Why: Membou is a gold-chip athlete who is strong at the point of attack as a run blocker and dominant as a pass protector. He could project to either tackle or guard at the NFL level.
13. Miami Dolphins
- Who: Kelvin Banks JR., OT, Texas
- Why: A highly decorated offensive lineman who started 42 games for the Longhorns. Banks was a 3-year starter at tackle and is a powerful force as a run blocker. He will need some work with his pass-blocking techniques.
14. Indianapolis Colts
- Who: Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
- Why: Colston is a huge receiving target downfield with speed and sure hands. He is a top-flight playmaker stretching the middle of a defense.
15. Atlanta Falcons
- Who: Mike Green, DE, Marshall
- Why: Green has developed a series of moves and countermoves to make him a dangerous threat coming off the edge. The Falcons need a top-flight pass rusher and Green is that. He recorded 84 total tackles, forced 3 fumbles, had 17 sacks and 22.5 tackles for loss last season.
16. Arizona Cardinals
- Who: Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan
- Why: He was overshadowed by Mason Graham at Michigan, but Grant is a real force in tying up multiple blockers and closing down rushing lanes. He’s also a solid interior pass rusher.
17. Cincinnati Bengals
- Who: Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss
- Why: Walter Nolen put on a real show for Ole Miss in 2024 and was a tilt-the-field player against the run and as a pass rusher. The Bengals really need defensive help and Nolen would be a top-flight addition.
18. Seattle Seahawks
- Who: Tyler Booker, IOL, Alabama
- Why: A huge interior player who is very strong at the point of attack as a run blocker. Booker has really upgraded his pass blocking skills.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Who: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
- Why: McMillan teaming up with Mike Evans would put some real pressure points on opposing defenses. His height, timing and leaping skills with the ball in flight are tremendous.
20. Denver Broncos
- Who: Jahdae Barron, CB/S, Texas
- Why: Barron is a versatile defender who can play cornerback, safety and the nickel spot. He’s a super instinctive football player.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers
- Who: Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri
- Why: Burden is a first-class playmaker with speed, quickness into and out of his cuts and breaks. Luther is elusive in space.
22. Los Angeles Chargers
- Who: Darius Alexander, DT, Toledo
- Why: Last year the Eagles selected CB Quinyon Mitchell in Round 1. This year the Rocket to go in the first round is Alexander. He dominated play upfront at the Senior Bowl with his power, and quickness off the snap and he is a good technician with his arms and hands at the point of attack.
23. Green Bay Packers
- Who: Shemar Stewart, DE, Texas A&M
- Why: Stewart’s production on the field has not matched his outstanding athletic skills, but he flashes big-time ability as a pass rusher and against the run.
24. Minnesota Vikings
- Who: Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
- Why: A smart, rangy defensive back who is a tough customer in run defense and also excels in pass coverage.
25. Houston Texans
- Who: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
- Why: Emeka is a very good route runner, quick to come out his breaks and he is a sure-handed target in heavy traffic.
26. Los Angeles Rams
- Who: Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss
- Why: Jaxson would give Sean McVay a young protege who has a very good arm. He’s accurate with his throws and can buy time with his feet.
27. Baltimore Ravens
- Who: Donovan Ezeiruaku, DE/OLB, Boston College
- Why: Donovan is a smart football player and a very productive edge rusher with first-rate foot speed and a variety of moves to defeat bigger opponents at the point of attack.
28. Detroit Lions
- Who: Jihaad Campbell,OLB, Alabama
- Why: Dan Campbell could use another playmaker on defense and Campbell is a versatile defender, super fast, flows effortlessly out on the field and can really bring the heat off the edge.
29. Washington Commanders
- Who: Matthew Golden, WR, Texas
- Why: Golden is a speedy end who has really upgraded his route running and set-up skills as a receiver. He caught 58 passes, averaged 17 yards per catch and scored 9 TDs for Texas last season. He’s also a skilled kickoff return man who averaged 25.8 yards per runback and brought two back for scores as a college player.
30. Buffalo Bills
- Who: James Pearce Jr., DE, Tennessee
- Why: Pearce is a flash off the snap and can really put heat on the QB. He’s also excellent in run pursuit and can eat up ground fast in pursuit of the ballcarrier.
31. Kansas City Chiefs
- Who: Grey Zabel, OG/OT, North Dakota State
- Who: Zabel is a tough hombre who could project to either tackle or guard, and possibly even center. He excels in both run blocking and in pass protection.
32. Philadelphia Eagles
- Who: Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
- Why: The Eagles love SEC players and Emmanwori is one of the best overall athletes in the 2025 draft class. Nick has outstanding football instincts, flies up the field in run support and he matches up very well on the pass coverage side of the ball.
