
LSU safety JaCoby Stevens chose to return his senior year and complete his degree before declaring the for NFL Draft. But, his draft stock took a hit his final season and Stevens ended up getting selected in the 6th round of the 2021 NFL draft by the Philadelphia Eagles.
He was a three-year starter, playing in 42 games with 30 starts and wore No. 7 for LSU his senior year. That jersey is given to the top playmakers each year.
Stevens finished his career in Baton Rouge with 190 tackles, 21.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, four fumble recoveries and four interceptions. Last year, he led LSU with 63 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, three sacks with three fumbles recovered.
