Sadly, there's no postseason for the 6-11 Saints, but there were many memorable moments worth revisiting. These are my top 5 plays of the Black & Gold's 2025 season.

#5: Rattler to Shaheed for a monster 87-yard score

In a standout moment against the Giants, Spencer Rattler connects with Rashid Shaheed on an explosive 87-yard touchdown pass. Speedy Shaheed manages to get wide open down the middle and outruns the defense all the way to the end zone.

#4: Tyler Shough’s 34-yard rushing TD

Showing off his mobility against the Buccaneers, Tyler Shough keeps the ball himself on a first-and-10 from the 35-yard line. He breaks toward the left side and outruns several defenders for a 34-yard rushing score.

#3: Shough’s 62-yard strike to Chris Olave

Facing a third-and-seven against the Panthers, Tyler Shough delivers a deep ball down the far sideline. Chris makes the catch and manages to tiptoe down the sideline into the end zone for a 62-yard score.

#2: Taysom Hill’s 38-yard heave to Olave 38-yard heave to Olave

Taysom Hill takes the snap on third-and-five and throws a deep ball to the end zone. Chris Olave is wide open in the slot and hauls in the 38-yard touchdown pass.

#1: Chase Young’s strip-sack and score

Chase Young explodes through the interior to sack quarterback Cam Ward. Young snatches the ball away from the quarterback mid-sack and returns it 33 yards for a touchdown, a highlight of his NFC Defensive Player of the Month performance.
