Following the New Orleans Saints 38-3 win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Sunday, the team appeared to have a very good time celebrating in the locker room.
Players and coach Sean Payton showed off their dance moves in videos that one went viral after the big win. But according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Saints could be facing disciplinary action for not wearing masks in those videos.
According to Schefter, the Saints are facing fines and potential the loss of a draft pick, and that the punishment could come this week.
The Saints have already been fined this season for a violation of the NFL’s COVID-19 protocols after their Week 2 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. The franchise and Payton were fined a combine $350,000 for improper mask use on the sidelines during that game.
