Trey Hendrickson finished 2020 second in the NFL with 13.5 sacks. That sort of production was expected to draw the defensive end interest as a free agent and according to a report, several teams have expressed interest in signing Hendrickson.
Per Josina Anderson, the New York Jets, Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings have all expressed interest in signing Hendrickson.
The Saints selected Hendrickson in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft and in his four seasons with the franchise he tallied 20 sacks three forced fumbles and three pass deflections in 45 games.
Earlier this year, Saints general manager Mickey Loomis said that the Saints “certainly wanted him back” but expected Hendrickson to be an attractive free agent.
