Saints announce several coaching moves

The New Orleans Saints announced several coaching moves Thursday.

Ronald Curry, who previously served as the assistant receivers coach, will coach quarterbacks. Curry replaces Joe Lombardi who left to become the Chargers offensive coordinator.

The Saints also promoted Brendan Nugent to offensive line coach. Nugent was an assistant offensive line coach with Dan Roushar who will coach the tight ends. Roushar takes over for Dan Campbell who became the head coach of the Detroit Lions.

The Saints also formally announced the hiring of defensive backs coach Kris Richard. Richard steps in for Aaron Glenn who was hired by Campbell and the Lions as defensive coordinator.

New Orleans also announced the addition of former offensive lineman and "Voice of the Saints" Zach Strief as an offensive line assistant.
