Saints DE Cam Jordan wins NFL's Bart Starr Man of the Year Award for 2025

Cam Jordan can add yet another major award to his mantle, being named this week as the 2025 recipient of the Bart Starr award.

The honor is handed out each year to the player who "best exemplifies outstanding character and leadership in the home, on the field, and in the community." Jordan's work in the New Orleans community over his 14 years with the Saints has been well documented, including weekly school visits, giveaways, youth camps and more through the Cam Jordan Foundation.

Jordan was surprised with the award this past week with messages from Hall of Fame coach Tony Dungy as well as family members. Check out that moment in the video below.

Former Saints Drew Brees, Benjamin Watson and Demario Davis are among previous winners of the award.

"His leadership extends far beyond the field," Davis said of his teammate. "He inspires through his actions, his words and his dedication to making others better."

The award will officially be presented as part of the Super Bowl Breakfast on Saturday, Feb. 8 in New Orleans ahead of Super Bowl 59, which will kick off at the Caesars Superdome later that evening.

Jordan is also the Saints' nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, which is yet to be announced.
