The New Orleans Saints have plenty of options on offense, but what is their deepest position?
That was the debate on SportsTalk on Tuesday, with Mike Detillier, Bobby Hebert and Deuce McAllister. Both Mike and Bobby agreed, the answer is the tight end position.
"They're all contributing," Hebert said. "I don't know if you keep four tight ends, because I think they will utilize the tight end position."

Hebert also pointed to second-year pro Moliki Matavao, a 7th round pick from last season who has been making plays early and often in camp.
"It just seems like all the tight ends, the ball has found them," Hebert continued. "At times it's like move the sticks-type plays. ... But the organization definitely addressed the depth at that position with the right mindset."
McAllister, meanwhile, isn't as sold on that group. The younger players shouldn't be expected to impact this year's roster throughout the season, even if they develop over time.
Instead, Deuce is looking at the offensive line for the "deepest position" accolade. That's despite the unfortunate, season-ending ACL tear for backup guard Dillon Radunz, and it's for one, specific reason: You know what to expect from plays like Asim Richards and Torricelli Simpkins, each of whom saw action in games a year ago.
"I'm depending on [rookie] Jeremiah Wright to be able to make a step. ... I don't have to play with you for 13 games or 17 games, I either have to finish a game or I have to play a game with you at that position. And everybody else is in their regular position, because I've seen you in an NFL game. I've seen what you can kind of do in an NFL game."
The depth of both positions will start to truly be tested this week, with the Jacksonville Jaguars visiting New Orleans for a joint practice on Thursday, followed by the preseason opener on Saturday afternoon at the Caesars Superdome.
