Saints final Week 1 injury report: 2 players out, including Chase Young

The New Orleans Saints will have to wait at least one week for the full form of their new defense.

The team announced on Friday that DE Chase Young would miss Week 1 due to a calf issue that arose midweek. Young did not practice either of the final two days, though he did indicate that it's not expected to be a long-term issue.

The Saints signed DE Garrett Nelson for depth, but could also turn to rookie Fadil Diggs as a practice squad call-up.
