The New Orleans Saints continue to see a pesky virus circulating in the locker room, but otherwise they appear to be in good shape from a health perspective heading into Week 9.
Kendre Miller was an addition to the injury report on Friday with an illness, joining DT Malcolm Roach and WR Lynn Bowden Jr. in that regard. Roach came down with the bug on Thursday. Both he and Miller are listed as questionable for the game against the Bears.
The lone player ruled out is depth linebacker Ty Summers, who missed all three days of practice as he works through the concussion protocol.

Each of Andrus Peat and James Hurst practiced in full while working through ankle injuries. It's expected that Peat will remain at left tackle, leaving the Saints to choose between Hurst and Max Garcia at left guard. Hurst began the year at that position, with Garcia filling in during Weeks 7 and 8.
On the Bears side of the equation there's a much bigger impact from injury, with four players ruled out, including starting middle linebacker Tremaine Edmunds.

The Bears already announced that backup QB Tyson Bagent would get the start this week, but Justin Fields hasn't officially been ruled out as of Friday.
