The Saints Friday injury report indicated an improvement for Marshon Lattimore's knee injury that kept him limited earlier in the week, but that changed on Saturday.
The Saints' star cornerback is now officially listed as "questionable." He didn't have an injury designation on Friday, and it was indicated that he was a full participant in practice.
Cornerback Ken Crawley and wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith were listed as "out" for the game, and have since been shifted to injured reserve. If Lattimore isn't able to go against the Green Bay Packers in Week 1, the Saints' cornerback depth could be stretched very thin. Recently acquired Bradley Roby won't be on the field until Week 2 as he finished out a suspension. Rookie Paulson Adebo, recently signed veteran Desmond Trufant, and possibly PJ Williams or CJ Gardner-Johnson would be the most likely candidates on the outside.
The Saints also announced a handful of moves to set the gameday roster:
- S Jeff Heath signed to practice squad; elevated to active roster
- K Aldrick Rosas elevated to active roster from practice squad
- DT Albert Huggins signed to active roster from practice squad
- DB Jordan Miller signed to active roster from practice squad
- OL Caleb Benenoch practice squad contract terminated
- DT Montravius Adams contract terminated
The Saints host Green Bay at Jacksonville's TIAA Bank Field on Sunday.
