The New Orleans Saints announced Saturday morning that they had come to terms on a deal with DT Christen Miller, the No. 40 overall selection in this year's draft.
That means that all eight draft picks are under contract, with the other seven signing their deals earlier in the week. Second round picks typically take longer to sign as there is some negotiation that has to occur over guaranteed money, though Miller's deal came through quickly by those standards.
Miller is among the rookie class who reported to Metairie this week for rookie minicamp, though he did not get on the field for the first day of practices. Head coach Kellen Moore said that he was dealing with a minor injury.
The Saints have another practice on Saturday before they get on the field later in May for the start of organized team activities.
