Christmas came early for the Saints offense, with quarterback Derek Carr distributing gifts to teammates in the locker room on Thursday.
Some of those gifts, according to multiple reports, included Rolex watches for wide receivers Rashid Shaheed and Chris Olave, with others receiving diamond chains.
The most interesting, and fitting gifts, went to Carr's linemen in the form of grills and coolers filled with steaks.
Quarterbacks playing the role of Santa is common in the NFL, and particularly when it comes to their linemen. As the highest paid member of the locker room, it's only fitting that they take care of the players who keep them upright.
There was one player who felt left out, and that was Khalen Saunders, who is technically a defensive tackle but made his case regardless.
"And Bink, (who has played every position listed) received a big fat ass NOTHING," he wrote, before making clear, "I’m kidding it’s all love that’s my brudda that’s still my QB."
The Saints (6-7) host the Giants (5-8) on Sunday at the Caesars Superdome.
