The New Orleans Saints have restructured quarterback Taysom Hill’s contract in a move that save the franchise roughly $7.5 million against the NFL’s salary cap, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Schefter reported that the restructure is a four-year, $140 million extension but the years are voidable.

ESPN’s Mike Triplett reports that the Saints have done similar deals with other players this year.

Hill’s restructure is the latest in a series of moves the Saints have made as they work to get under their $185.5 million cap ceiling.

New Orleans restructured Michael Thomas’ contract and released cornerback Janoris Jenkins also this past week.

The Saints also released wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders and reportedly cut linebacker Kwon Alexander.

They also made several other moves in order to get under the NFL's 185.5 million adjusted salary cap including restructuring the contracts of offensive lineman Andrus Peat and safety Malcolm Jenkins, linebacker Demario Davis, defensive end Cam Jordan kicker Wil Lutz, defensive tackle David Onyemata and quarterback Drew Brees.
