He certainly didn't take the most traditional route to the Saints' 90-man roster, but defensive back Roderic Teamer will be sticking around after all.

The Saints are expected to sign the former Tulane standout after his second tryout, according to reports. No corresponding move has yet been announced.

Teamer played four seasons with the Green Wave, finishing second on the team with 72 tackles in his senior season. He initially joined the Saints as a rookie minicamp tryout, but did not return for any of the three OTA sessions. He was back on the field as a tryout for this month's minicamp, apparently doing enough to impress coaches that they'll be bringing him back for the full camp.
