The New Orleans Saints could be without a key player in Week 1, with Chase Young missing Tuesday's practice due to a calf issue.
The injury occurred during Tuesday's session and was considered to be minor, head coach Kellen Moore said. Teams don't issue gameday designations until Friday. In the locker room after practice Young said he didn't anticipate the injury to be a long-term issue.
The Saints did make a pair of roster moves, waiving QB Hunter Dekkers for the third time this season and signing DE Garrett Nelson to the practice squad. The team also upgraded Khristian Boyd to a full participant, a good sign that he'll be available on Sunday.
