As the New Orleans Saints prepare for a Week 1 showdown with the Tennessee Titans, there's been positive developments for Marshon Lattimore.
The star CB has been managing a knee injury dating back to joint practices with the L.A. Chargers, but he returned to practice in full on Thursday, along with a handful of other players.
DNP = did not participate; LP = limited participation; FP = full participation
Here's the full injury report as of Sept. 7:
- WR Tre'Quan Smith (groin): DNP | DNP
- S J.T. Gray (shoulder): DNP | DNP
- RB Kendre Miller (hamstring): DNP | DNP
- CB Marshon Lattimore (knee): LP | FP
- RT Ryan Ramczyk (rest): DNP | FP
- TE Jimmy Graham (rest): DNP | FP
The injury listing for Miller has also been corrected to a hamstring issue, which is what he had been dealing with over the last several weeks of practice The injury was erroneously listed as a knee issue on the initial injury report. Special teams ace J.T. Gray also appears to be trending toward missing Week 1, which could lead to questions for that unit.
On the Titans side of things there is optimism for every player listed. Here's how it all breaks down as of Thursday:
- CB Tre Avery (hamstring): LP | LP
- LB Harold Landry (abdomen): LP | LP
- OT Dillon Radunz (knee): LP | LP
- WR Treylon Burks (knee): FP | FP
- LB Arden Key (calf): FP | FP
- QB Will Levis (quad): FP | FP
- WR DeAndre Hopkins (rest): DNP | LP
- TE Trevon Wesco (rest): DNP | LP
The final injury report of the week will be posted on Friday, including game-day designations. The Saints and Titans face off at noon Sunday in the season-opener for both teams at the Caesars Superdome.
