There was no positive news on the injury front for the Saints on Thursday, and that puts a handful of key players at risk to miss a pivotal matchup with the Lions.
One of those players is ironman DE Cam Jordan, who has missed just two games in his 13-year career, with only one of those absences coming due to injury. Jordan is dealing with an ankle injury sustained late during a loss to the Falcons in Week 12, and he has been absent from the first two days of practice this week.

The biggest questions will come for LB Pete Werner and WR Chris Olave, with their potential absences leading to obvious depth questions in terms of who fills in for them. WR Rashid Shaheed has been absent both days and is not expected to play on Sunday.
The status of safety Marcus Maye will also be one to watch, though the Saints did sign Johnathan Abram from the practice squad, in what appears to be an indicator that he might not be available. Rookie Jordan Howden would likely slot into the starting lineup should that be the case.

On the Lions side there were several upgrades, though former Saints LB Alex Anzalone remained a DNP. Center Frank Ragnow also did not participate, though that was listed as a rest day.
