The New Orleans Saints had a new name on the injury report Thursday ahead of a Week 3 matchup with the Packers.
Saints safety Ugo Amadi was listed as limited in practice with a knee injury, but the only player absent was RB Jamaal Williams, who is expected to miss time with a hamstring injury. The Saints did get one player back in Foster Moreau, who was limited with an ankle injury.
See the full Thursday injury report for Week 3:
DNP= did not participate; LP = limited participation; FP = full participation
- TE Foster Moreau (ankle): DNP | LP
- RB Jamaal Williams (hamstring): DNP | DNP
- QB/TE Taysom Hill (knee): LP | FP
- RB Kendre Miller (hamstring): FP | FP
- S Ugo Amadi (knee): n/a | LP
Amadi's availability will be something to watch, considering the Saints are suddenly thin at safety due to Marcus Maye's three-game suspension. One good sign for the Saints is Taysom Hill being listed as a full participant as he works through a knee injury.
On the Packers' side there was also a safety added to the injury report in Zayne Anderson, while RB Aaron Jones got back to practice as he deals with his own hamstring injury.
Here's where things stand for the Packers as of Thursday:
- OT David Bakhtiari (NIR-rest/knee): DNP | DNP
- OL Elgton Jenkins (knee): DNP | DNP
- RB Aaron Jones (hamstring): DNP | LP
- LB Rashaan Gary (knee): LP | LP
- LB Lukas Van Ness (elbow): LP | LP
- WR Christian Watson (hamstring): LP | DNP
- P Dan Whelan (finger): FP | FP
- S Zayne Anderson (hamstring): n/a | DNP
The Saints (2-0) and Packers (1-1) face off on Sunday at noon at Lambeau Field.
