The New Orleans Saints have a lot of injuries to watch as they set to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a short week.
The Saints had nine players miss Wednesday's session, eight of whom would be considered starters on the depth chart. That group included QB Derek Carr, Taysom Hill, Alvin Kamara, Pete Werner and Rashid Shaheed.
Starting safety Will Harris is a candidate to land on injured reserve, head coach Dennis Allen said, with a significant hamstring injury. The Saints have also already ruled out Derek Carr (oblique) and named Spencer Rattler the starting QB until Carr can return.
The Saints only held a walkthrough on Wednesday so the injury report is estimated. Here's how it stacked up for the week.

The good news for the Saints is the return of Willie Gay, who missed the game in Kansas City as he works back from a significant hand injury suffered early in the loss to the Falcons.
Lucas Patrick's injury will be one to watch. He started at center but left during the second half against the Chiefs with a collarbone issue. He was replaced by Connor McGovern, who stayed in at center when Patrick returned to play left guard. Patrick was already questionable entering the game due to a groin injury suffered in practice.
Alvin Kamara's listing now includes a hand injury, with the rib issue removed.
