Saints Week 7 injury report, Tuesday: Derek Carr, Trevor Lawrence both upgraded

The New Orleans Saints don't have much time to recover for Thursday's showdown with the Jaguars, and there weren't many improvements on Tuesday's injury report.

None of the six players who were held out on Monday returned on Tuesday, a group that included linebacker Demario Davis, who is dealing with a knee injury. Davis has never missed a game due to injury in his 12-year NFL career.

With the short week, the Saints have only held light practices and walkthroughs to this point.

One piece of positive news comes with quarterback Derek Carr, who was upgraded to full participation after being limited on Monday.

The status of Lawrence will be a key to watch the next two days, with the Jaguars QB dealing with what has been described as a minor knee sprain. If Lawrence can't go it would be backup C.J. Beathard, who hasn't started a game since 2020 as a member of the 49ers.

The Saints (3-3) and Jaguars (4-2) face off at 7:20 p.m. Thursday at the Caesars Superdome.
