New Orleans Saints offensive lineman Will Clapp is out of Sunday’s playoff matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after testing positive for COVID-19 according to a report from the NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Clapp, a former LSU standout, appeared in eight regular season games for the Saints this season and logged a few special teams snaps for New Orleans in their 21-9 Wild Card round win against the Chicago Bears.
Per the report, the Saints haven’t identified any high-risk close contacts yet.
The Saints have dealt with the coronavirus in recent weeks as they were without several players for Week 17 due to positive tests.
