The New Orleans Saints will be going abroad in 2022.
According to Jeff Duncan of The Times-Picayune, the NFL has notified the Saints that they will play in London as part of the league’s annual International Series.
The date and opponent has yet to be finalized but the game is expected to be considered a home game for New Orleans against another NFC South team.
The Saints were scheduled for nine home games next season — which will be the second year of the NFL’s 17-game regular season schedule.
The Saints last played in London at Wembley Stadium in 2017 when they beat the Dolphins, 20-0. The also played at Wembley in 2008 when they beat the Chargers, 37-32.
