Taysom Hill, Latavius Murray likely won't play vs. Bucs, reports say

The New Orleans Saints will likely be without quarterback Taysom Hill and running back Latavius Murray for their Divisional Round matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 5:40 p.m., according to multiple reports.

The Athletic’s Katherine Terrell first reported the news on Hill who along with Murray was listed as questionable for Sunday’s game after missing most of the week's practices.

Hill has been a weapon in the Saints’ offense this season rushing for eight touchdowns, a franchise record for a New Orleans quarterback and going 3-1 as a starter in relief of an injured Drew Brees.

Murray who appeared in 15 regular season games this year has rushed fro 656 yards and four touchdowns while averaging a 4.5 yards per carry, the second most of his career.

Without Murray, Saints backup running back and core special teams player Dwayne Washington could see some carries as well as Ty Montgomery who rushed for over 100 yards in the Saints regular season finale.
