After 2 seasons in New Orleans, Jared Cook is off to Los Angles. The tight end inked a one year deal, worth up to $6 million with the Chargers.
He’ll be familiar with their offensive coordinator, Joe Lombardi, who used to be the Saints quarterbacks coach.

Cook signed a 2 year, $16 million deal with the Saints in 2019 and ended up playing in 29 games, making 80 catches for 1,209 yards and 16 touchdowns. The lasting memory of his time in New Orleans though will be a fumble in the playoff loss to Tampa Bay that was major turning point in the game.

Remaining in the Saints TE room heading into the 2021 season are Adam Trautman, Garret Garrett Griffin and Ethan Wolf.
