The New Orleans Saints will have a familiar face roaming the sidelines this preseason: Terron Armstead.

The longtime Saints LT and a member of this year team Hall of Fame class will be serving as the sideline reporter for the TV broadcast of the first two preseason games. Jon Stinchcomb and Joel Meyers will be in the booth. Kelly Crull will have sideline duties in the preseason finale.

The Saints will kick off their preseason slate at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars, with the game scheduled to kick off at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15. They'll hit the road for the following week before facing the Rams at SoFi Stadium, a game also set to kick off at 3 p.m. on Aug. 22. The Saints will head to Arlington for a showdown with the Cowboys in the preseason finale, a game that will kick off at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28. All three games can be viewed on Fox.

The opportunity will be the latest foray into media for Armstead, who retired after the 2024 season and following three seasons with the Miami Dolphins after he spent the first nine years of his career in New Orleans. The Saints picked Armstead in the third round of the 2013 draft, and he went on to appear in 97 games and land in the Pro Bowl three times, as well as one All Pro nod. Armstead will officially enter the team Hall of Fame during a ceremony later this season alongside former teammate Mark Ingram.

Since retiring he's spent time working with NFL offensive linemen during the offseason and has started his own YouTube channel and podcast called 'The Set.'
