After appearing on the Saints injury report Friday with a hamstring issue, running back Ty Montgomery has now been put on injured reserve and will miss at least 3 weeks. He has 1 rush this season for -4 yards and 2 catches for 25 yards.
The team also waived Guard/ Center Will Clapp, New Orleans with two open roster spots.
Wide receiver Bennie Fowler and defensive end Margus Hunt to the 53-man roster. Both been called up to the active roster for week 1 and 2 after being on the practice squad
