Offensive weapon Ty Montgomery will get another go in New Orleans after seeing action in 6 games for the Saints last season. The team announced the running back / wide receiver has been given a one-year contract.
Montgomery had his most productive day in Black & Gold in the 2020 regular season finale, where he rushed for 105 yards on 18 carries against the Panthers. He finished the season with 101 yards rushing on 19 attempts with 3 receptions for 27 yards.
The 28 year old Stanford product can also contribyte in the kick return game.
Montgomery came into the NFL in 2015 as a 3rd round pick of the Green Bay Packers and has also spent time with the NY Jets and Baltimore Ravens.
