Have you heard? WWL Radio is 100 years old as of March 31. Looking pretty spry, we know.
But with that in mind, I spent some time catching up with a handful of household names that have either helped make that century of broadcasting what it was, or had a front-row seat to some of the top moments in WWL Radio history.
Those names include Archie and Cooper Manning -- no further introduction necessary -- Doug Thornton, EVP of ASM Global, the company that manages the Superdome, Superdome PA Announcer Mark Romig, SEC Associate Commissioner Herb Vincent, and of course legendary Voice of the Saints Jim Henderson.
