The fans in attendance at the Caesars Superdome didn't need a ton of help getting hyped for the first home action of the 2021 season, but the St. Aug marching band still made sure to to turn the dial up to 11.
Oh, and they had help in the form of actor, comedian and writer JB Smoove, dressed as Caesar himself.
The actor, whose real name is Jerry Angelo Brooks, was interviewed on the field in the first quarter. Smoove is a native of North Carolina, but is a well-documented Saints superfan, regardless.
“This is absolutely, words can not describe," he said. "It’s beautiful."
