The National Hurricane Center is tracking one area of low pressure with potential for development.
The system is off the coast of North Carolina, along a frontal system off the southeastern U.S. coast.
"Additional slow development could occur through early next week as the system moves slowly east-northeastward," said Senior Hurricane Specialist Dr. Jack Beven.
Elsewhere in the Atlantic, Gulf, and Caribbean, tropical storm development is not expected in the next seven days.
