Amazon reverses course, grants time off to Bourbon Street survivor

A Bourbon Street attack survivor has been granted time off from her job at
an Amazon distribution facility after the denial of her initial request
generated a heap of online criticism about the ecommerce giant. 23 year
old Alexis Scott-Windham was out on Bourbon Street with her friends when
Shamsud-Din Jabbar plowed a truck through the crowds in what
authorities are investigating as a terrorist attack.

Girl Scouts have revealed that two fan favorites are being discontinued at
the end of 2025: the S’mores and Toast-Yay! Both cookies will be available
for purchase this year at cookie booths or online.

Delta Air Lines’ SkyMiles members will be able to earn miles for Uber rides
starting this spring. With the new deal, the airline is ending an eight-year
partnership with Lyft. Delta’s credit card partner American Express also
offers Uber credits with some of its cards.
