Amazon says it will be implementing ads into television shows and movies on their Prime Video streaming service. Those commercials will begin running on January 29. Amazon claims that they are aiming to air fewer commercials than linear television. The streaming giant says this will allow Amazon to continue to invest in top quality content. If you want to avoid those ads, you can pay an additional $2.99 per month to watch content ad-free.
