Federal health officials have extended for nearly three more months rules that cruise ships must follow to sail during the pandemic. The CDC says after Jan.
15, it plans to move to a voluntary program for cruise companies to detect and control the spread of COVID on their ships.
The current regulations, called a conditional sailing order, were scheduled to expire on Nov. 1. Most cruise lines require adult passengers to show proof of vaccination.
Will your holiday packages get there on time? The Postal Service says yes. The USPS is adding 45 facilities for the shipping season to handle the extra volume. In an effort to convince shippers it’s a viable delivery option to FedEx and UPS, the Postal Service says it can handle 50 million packages daily this peak season, up 35% from last year.
