Top White House economic adviser Brian Deese says a U.S. ban on exports of gasoline and other refined petroleum products is still under consideration, as Biden administration officials respond to OPEC+’s decision to cut crude oil production.
The possible ban has been on the table for months, with Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm saying in May that Pres. Biden hadn’t ruled it out.
DraftKings is close to signing an exclusive partnership with ESPN.
The Action Network reports that ESPN was seeking $3 billion over a set time period that would "lead to a sportsbook rebranding itself with the ESPN name." And it says an exclusive partnership could feature broadcasts integrated with betting odds.
Disney recently said it was examining the possibility of adding sports gambling to ESPN. DraftKings shares were up nearly 8% in premarket trading on the news.
Futures are lower after today's jobs report showed unemployment falling to 3.5% and payrolls on the rise. Stocks closed lower yesterday. The Dow Industrials dropped 347, the Nasdaq fell 75 and the S&P 500 was down 38.
