Americans are feeling the pain at the pump. Gas prices have soared
to 4-dollars-per-gallon for the first time since 2008. It comes with
supply disruptions caused by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Crude oil
prices are skyrocketing in tandem. The U.S. benchmark – West Texas
Intermediate – rose to 130-dollars-a-barrel in overnight trading, also a
14-year high.
The world’s biggest cruise ship set sail for the first time over the
weekend. Royal Carribbean’s Wonder of the Seas departed Fort
Lauderdale for a seven-day voyage to the Carribbean. The ship is
more than 11-hundred feet long and 236-thousand tons. It’s got the
space to house nearly 7-thousand passengers. It’s packed with
amenities like a zip-line, a mini-golf course, and a 10-story waterslide.
