Oil prices are soaring as the crisis between Russia and Ukraine escalates. Crude oil is up nearly 5% this morning, trading over $95 a barrel. Russia was the largest supplier of natural gas and oil to the European Union last year, and the tensions are lending support to oil prices.
Discount chain Family Dollar has temporarily closed more than 400 stores due to a rodent infestation at an Arkansas warehouse. The FDA says products purchased from stores in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri and Tennessee may be unsafe.
Affected products include dietary supplements, skincare products, baby oils, lipsticks, shampoos, baby wipes, medical devices and over-the-counter medications.
Carnival Cruises will be relaxing its mask rules. Masks will be recommended but not required on board from sailings departing on and after March 1.
